Bit of an upsetting turn of events - Eleven and Shen Qingqiu were sent to escort a cache of powerful magical weapons out of the city. They were intercepted by a group of people, one of which was the captain of Macaluso's guard, and managed to get themselves and the weapons back to the city. The soldiers they traveled with during the escort told them to get the weapons back to Rigarda.
Eleven and Shen Qingqiu are sure those weapons were headed to the undead, and given what you found out about Bonaccorso I suspect the same.
Suffice to say the weapons are now in the house, I've stashed them in the workroom in the box where we've stored the remains from the Stairs of Sighs. Nobody saw us enter the house or leave it thankfully, but - well, I thought you ought to know.
My, my, so Macaluso is more aware, or more ambitious, than people might have believed. No wonder he wasn't fond of my little illustration.
Forgive me, your magics are fascinating and endlessly flexible, do they do anything to suppress... energy? If all those weapons were left without any means of them being tracked I'll admit to being surprised, but moreover—what are any of the three of you planning to do about them?
That he possibly tried to orchestrate an interception is very interesting. I can't help but wonder if he doesn't have his own deal going with the undead now.
Unfortunately, I can't suppress their power, but I have done what I could to beef up the security of the house and make it and the box as hard to perceive as I can (as always my wards won't affect you should you need to go there). I'll go back several times throughout the day to refresh the spells I cast on everything. There's a way to make a house unplottable - as in it can't be found unless you know where to look - but I'd need help for that, it's a very complicated undertaking.
The two of them seem to be trying to work that out between themselves, my first instinct was to come to speak to you and get your insight, I ought to tell Eleven to do the same.
He could, or his own deal for curtailing their interests. Someone needs to speak with him, and it cannot be us. As in you and I, or the ones who took these weapons, but, and bear with me here:
Should they feel so pressed to keep an individual one or two, certainly, pending there's nothing that marks or tracks these as a shipment notable elsewhere. My genuine recommendation would be to contact the Merchant and have him arrange to sell them off, and to track the buyers. He's been mercenarily practical about what work he did with us and Anurr under the name of Haltham, and he has no love for the undead lords who destroy and consume and find no ending to either.
That, or have Karsa confirm there's no trace of tracking or curse on the weaponry, as curses seem to be a favourite passtime for the locals working in magics.
As always you're full of wise input, I knew coming to you with this was the right choice.
I will pass on your advice and hope the best comes of it, and see about moving to get this box of weapons out of the house and hidden somewhere else, should there be a trace on them.
Wise, Lan Zhan may debate, but it's my thoughts on this either way, and you're always welcome, Lily. Keep me informed as you have time to do so. Likewise if you all end up requiring support for whatever does or doesn't come.
Oh! This reminds me. Shen Qingqiu seems to have bonded with one of the swords, he says it has a full spirit, and making it would take cultivation. This is more your area than mine, but if that spirit is able to be communicated with, it might know something.
If he bonded with the ... spirit of the sword, he may be the one to have clearest communication. I could attempt speaking with it, but I don't have that bond, and it has no loyalty to me, so in this case I would ask Master Shen to apply himself to unraveling the mystery he's been granted.
