I'm not certain if he remembers the lake. The details of the situation were relayed to me by Five's sister. That he doesn't remember Vanya existing at all is distressing.

It's...complicated. He helped me rescue Eleven, and I'm grateful for that. We've spoken to some extent since then, amiably, and I've gotten the impression he's not trying to murder me specifically, so - that's nice, isn't it?
He's very smart, and he can get things done, and that is very helpful.
